Books That Made a World of Difference

Beyond Grief: A Guide for Recovering From the Death of a Loved One by Carol Staudacher
(This book was like a life support system for me.  I clung to it as I went in and out of the grieving process.  It is easy to read, well organized, and addresses many perspectives and conditions under which we must live with grief.)

Final Gifts by Patricia Kelley and Maggie Callanan
(These two women have given those of us who wonder about death -- the surviving of death on both sides -- insight based on their own professional experiences with people in the process of dying.  I have bought and given away this very book six times because it is so helpful to others.)

Those They Left Behind: Interviews, Stories, Essays and Poems by Survivors of Suicide by Karen Mueller Bryson Ph.D http://www.storycirclebookreviews.org/reviews/leftbehind.shtml
(This is a connection to the world many of us need to know exists.  Touching, uplifting, insightful.)
